What Is the Porterville Ghost Society?

The Porterville Ghost Society (PGS) is a dedicated team of paranormal enthusiasts based in Porterville, California. Our mission? To investigate and uncover evidence of paranormal activity across Tulare, Kings, Kern, and Fresno counties, as well as surrounding areas. Whether it’s a private residence or a public location, we delve deep into the mysterious and often unexplainable phenomena that many experience.

Our Mission: Evidence of the Afterlife

At PGS, we are united by a common goal—to provide proof that ghosts exist. Our team is proud to be affiliated with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) as a TAPS Family Member. Here’s what that means for our mission:

• Recognition: TAPS screens our organization and recognizes us as part of a select group of paranormal researchers in the U.S. and abroad.
• Referral System: We receive cases from TAPS, allowing us to work on high-interest paranormal investigations.
• No Fees: We’re committed to our community and offer our investigative services free of charge for private requests.

Types of Investigations We Conduct

PGS specializes in a variety of investigations that can fall into different categories. Here’s a brief breakdown:

• Residential Investigations: We help private homeowners who believe their property is haunted. It’s often a personal and emotional experience for those involved.
• Public Locations: Many historical sites often have rich stories connected to the paranormal, and we examine these locations to gather evidence.
• Events and Community Engagement: PGS participates in local events to share knowledge and engage with the community about the paranormal.

How Do We Investigate?

Our investigations use a variety of tools and techniques to gather evidence. Here’s a glimpse into our process:

• Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP): We capture audio recordings that may contain voices from beyond.
• Video Surveillance: We set up cameras to observe unusual occurrences.
• Temperature and EMF Readings: We track environmental changes that may indicate paranormal activity.
